The mission of River Road ISD's Transportation Department is to maintain a safe, clean bus fleet; transport and aid district students in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner, and achieve a spirit of respect and fairness towards one another that results in a positive educational and working experience for all. 

Our drivers, bus assistants, motor pool and office staff are committed to the safety of each of our student bus riders. We do not take this great responsibility lightly as evidenced by our goal of continually improving our excellent safety record and by our standing challenge to each other to protect each student as if your student were our own. We feel fortunate to have one of the most experienced and dedicated staffs in the panhandle. Our hope is that you will find our office staff knowledgeable, courteous and willing to help at all times.
