I graduated from WTAMU with a degree in elementary education in 2001. I taught at the elementary level for 15 years before earning my Master of Education in school counseling, also from WTAMU. I have worked with students in Prek-12 for the last 5 years as a student/family advocate. I have certifications for classroom teacher grades 1-8 and school counseling PK-12. I am excited to start this new journey at River Road high school and look forward to a successful school year!

I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Master of Education in Administration in 2003. I obtained my School Counseling Certification in 2017. Prior to being a Counselor at River Road High School, I was an Assistant Principal at Canyon ISD for 14 years. I taught Spanish at Randall High School and at the Youth Center of the High Plains. I hold certifications for Principal K-12, Classroom Teacher 6-12 and Counselor K-12. I am extremely excited for the opportunity to help River Road High School students be successful while in high school as well as continuing on in their post-secondary education and life endeavors.
